With growing demand for our unique services Body Smart is growing rapidly and we have an amazing opportunity for a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team of like-minded professionals. Working from home, our modern rehab clinics and across the local community. You will be responsible for providing assessment and interventions for a diverse caseload; working with clients, their families and other allied health team members to design and implement plans that are holistic, practical and outcomes driven.
Your duties will include but not be limited to -
Assessing and planning guidance for NDIS participants to maximise their level of function, capacity and social engagement
Prescribing assistive technology equipment and recommendations and provision of ongoing therapy support for NDIS participants
Reporting outcomes and recommendations, written and verbal, in a timely manner and to a high standard.
Promoting health and wellness solutions and supporting optimal mental and physical outcomes for clients.
Liaising with clients, families, referrers, doctors, employers and other allied health professions to achieve coordinated outcomes.
Delivery of occupational therapy interventions and Home Safety Assessments

Confident in working autonomously with strong attention to detail and organisation skills to effectively manage your caseload, you'll be able to assess and treat a broad range of clients and conditions. Making effective clinical decisions without being afraid to ask for advice or support as needed.
Genuinely friendly and passionate about supporting each individual, your well developed interpersonal and communication skills will enable you to build trust, rapport and strong relationships with clients, their families and the community. You will also be comfortable using and learning new technology including online tools for reporting, communication and collaboration.
It is essential that you hold current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist and be eligible to work in Australia.
